Dr. Nick Kennedy was born and raised in New Mexico and earned degrees from UNM and NMSU.  After attending veterinary school at Kansas State University, he did an equine internship in San Antonio, Texas before moving back to NM in 2014.  Since then he has worked around the state as an equine veterinarian and also worked for a few years at a small animal clinic in Albuquerque.  He has lived in Los Lunas since 2017 and was very excited about the chance to purchase this clinic in his home town.  Dr. Kennedy really enjoys educating clients about the benefits of preventive medicine and performing soft tissue surgery.  When not in the clinic he is likely working on horses or hopefully finding some time to get away up to the mountains with his favorite cat, Thatcher, where they both feel most at home.

When she’s not at work she’s likely running, hiking, reading, making something delicious in the kitchen, or just spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
